Heating pusher-type furnace designed for steel and nonferrous blanks continuous heating for forging and plastic deformation. Modern forging furnaces are equipped with pushing devices for blanks mechanical loading, transportating and unloading. In these furnaces long workpieces are pushed by a special mechanism on skid rails or heat resistant steel rails; short billets are pushed directly on the hearth, lying close to one another and filling the whole hearth.
