There is a large number of chamber furnaces with various designs and sizes, gas- or electrically heated.

Chamber furnaces with stationary hearth are of periodic operation. In such furnaces items loading, heat treatment, cooling and unloading is carried out in succession in furnace working space.

Chamber furnaces are widely used at the heat treatment sites of machine-building plants. They are used for heat treatment of medium-sized items and blanks, as well as for small items.

The furnaces can be equipped with:

• Special equipment (baskets, trays) for products installation and maximum workspace utilization;
• Loading tables, loading and unloading mechanisms to ease the work of a heat-treater;
• Quenching tanks.
